Join us at St. Edward’s

COVID-19 Letter from the vicar-chaplain 21-03-20

St Edward’s is a vibrant and historical church located in the city centre of Cambridge. We seek to make known the good news of Christ through our worship and service to the community. We are also a place that seeks to bring theology to the heart of the church through teaching, the arts, and engagement with contemporary culture. St. Edward’s is a place that has been filled with the prayers of faithful men and women for centuries and we invite all to come on Sundays, or during the week, to experience rest, peace, and refreshment.

At 8:00am there is BCP Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month

The 11:00am service is Common Worship Holy Communion.

The first Sunday of the month is a family-friendly service (though we always welcome families and children) and the second Sunday of the month uses the liturgy from the BCP. There is a children’s play/reading area at the back of the church and a creche available for those with infants/toddlers.

During University of Cambridge’s term we host graduate students Mon.—Fri. for prayer and study from 8.45-17.00. The Scriptorium offers a vibrant faith and learning community for those doing further research in different disciplines across the university. Please contact the church if you are interested in joining us during the week.

At 10:30am there is a Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion.
