Sunday live stream…

Greetings everyone…

It was so wonderful to see everyone who joined us at the church this morning, but I wanted to send my apologies for those who tried to join via the live stream. The video seemed to be working but there was a glitch with the audio. We’ll run some tests this week to make sure everything is up and running for next week. Again, I’m sorry for the technical difficulties. If you are able, please do join us next Friday at 10.30am or next Sunday at 11am. We’ll send out an email with service links later this week, but you’ll be able to find the livestreams on our youtube channel

Blessings…

Services This Week

Greetings Everyone,

This morning we held our first BCP Holy Communion service back in the church. We apologise for those who tried to join in via livestream. Unfortunately, we encountered some technical difficulties, but we hope those are now resolved and all will go smoothly on Sunday.

A reminder that our Sunday Service at 11 am will take place at church with proper social distancing in place if you would like to join us. Our service will also be broadcast live via our YouTube Channel. We will have service sheets available at the church, but you can also access it here (12 July 2020 Service Sheet) for those who are joining via livestream.

As always we are grateful for all of your gifts! Offerings may still be given during this time via Standing Orders or one time bank transfer, via BACS [SORT: 20-17-19 / ACCT #: 30851477 – “St Edwards Church Vestry Fund”]

Service Update and Youtube streaming…

Greetings everyone…

I hope you are all well and continue to keep safe. We’re excited to announce that this week we will be worshipping in the church! Our time together will look slightly different, but we’re excited none-the-less. We’ll give further details and guidance during the services, but we’ll ask that everyone take any necessary precautions to make sure the worship space is as safe as possible. We ask that everyone maintain physical distance inside the building as per government requirements. A hand sanitizer station will be set up. An offering basket will be placed near the West door. Please keep your bulletins and recycle at home. And of course, if you’re not feeling well please do not come into the church but join us online.

Youtube Livestream: The great news is that the audio/video system has been installed and we’ll give it a test run this Friday for the BCP Eucharist. This means we will no longer be meeting via zoom, but you can go direct to our YouTube home page and click ‘subscribe’ to get the latest updates. All of our services will be broadcast on this channel from now on. If you can’t join live, the videos will remain up on the site afterward.

10 June: Friday BCP 10.30am: This week I will lead our Friday Eucharist in the Clare Chapel. We will not have a coffee time in the church after the service, but please feel free to meet locally outside the church for coffee/tea. We will try to make arrangements for this in the future, but just not for this week. If you have a BCP book you might bring it with you. Otherwise we will have paper copies of the service at the church. To watch the service live, please click on the youtube link above or go directly to our youtube channel.

12 June: Sunday Eucharist 11am: Please do join us if you can for our worship on Sunday. We are not allowed to sing hymns together but Helen is excited to be back on the organ! We’ll have some slight changes to the service that we’ll guide you through on the morning. We will have coffee servers after the service as we stand and chat with appropriate distance. You may want to bring your own travel mug otherwise we will have paper, recyclable cups available.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, but if for any reason you’re not comfortable coming in person please join us via the youtube livestream

Blessings…
